Alasdair Gardner
Trustee of Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands since May 2020. Alasdair joined Bank of Scotland in 1987 and has considerable client and leadership experience across a range of client and financing segments. Alasdair is currently CEO of The Islands Business within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. Prior to this Alasdair held roles as Head of Industrials and Commercial Banking Scotland and Head of Large Corporates North America where he was responsible for heading up the client coverage teams across all sectors in the US.

Alasdair has held a variety of roles within the Group including MD for Lloyds Mid Markets business in Scotland and North of England as well as SME for Scotland. He also had sector responsibility for UK Housebuilders and Social Housing. Prior to this he headed the Energy Division of HBOS, which succeeded his role in leading transactional teams delivering funding solutions including equity, capital markets and leveraged finance debt packages. Alasdair also sits on The Scottish Executive Committee.
