Poppy Murray
Trustee of Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands since December 2021. Poppy has extensive knowledge of the charitable sector, digital marketing and issue led campaigning. Poppy’s diverse career includes roles in finance, multinational retail, legal, journalism and charity sectors in both Guernsey and the UK. Poppy is currently a Content Creator for Saffery Champness, a board member of Sophie’s Smile Ponies and The Ghost Seas Project charities.
In March 2021, Poppy created the BE LADS© initiative, which seeks to raise awareness of the issue of women’s safety when walking alone and gives advice to men about ways they can help women feel safer. The initiative has been adopted by the States of Guernsey and is now part of the Year 11 PSHCE curriculum in all Guernsey schools.
