We awarded Citizens Advice Jersey a grant of £17,767 over one year for the salary of the Money Advice Worker.
Citizens Advice Jersey provides citizens with a wide range of generalist and holistic information, advice and guidance, and they aim to help people to resolve their own problems. They offer a service that is independent, free, confidential and impartial and is provided to all Islanders regardless of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, age or nationality.
They recognise that there are many people out there for whom day-to-day budgeting is a challenge, this funding has helped them to continue to deliver a service to their clients that many have described as a ‘lifeline’ and having access to a trained adviser who can help them revise their finances and liaise with their creditors is invaluable. For people who have to budget on a weekly or even daily basis, our debt service has not only improved their finances but also their health and well-being.
“We thank Lloyds Bank Foundation for helping us to continue to have a positive impact and change people’s lives for the better.”
Malcolm Ferey, Chief Executive
