charities supported

We fund, support and champion charities in the Channel Island charities that make a positive difference to the lives of people who are socially excluded and disadvantaged people, enabling them to play a fuller role in the community.

Our Strategy

Our strategy is determined by our Board of Trustees, who meet three times each year to discuss and agree grant applications. We support charities which demonstrate good governance and sustainable activities measured against identifiable outcomes.

The Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands operates as an independently registered charity, funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group.

Lloyds Banking Group and its Charitable Foundations

We are enormously proud of our strategic partnership with Lloyds Banking Group which as well as funding, gives us access to a wealth of skills and expertise amongst bank colleagues.

Lloyds Banking Group, one of the UK’s largest corporate donors, leverages its extensive resources to support communities nationwide. Through its four independent charitable Foundations, including our own, they are committed to addressing social disadvantage and helping rebuild lives.

In 2024 alone, Lloyds Banking Group contributed £35.2 million to its Foundations. These charities tackle critical issues such as domestic abuse, mental health, modern slavery, human trafficking, and employability.

Lloyds Banking Group’s commitment extends beyond financial support; they actively share their skills, experience, and knowledge, fostering genuine partnerships with their Foundations. This holistic approach underscores their dedication to combating social disadvantage and empowering local communities.
