Claire joined the Foundation in October 2026.

Claire is a registered nurse and experienced health and care leader with more than 25 years’ experience across clinical practice, healthcare regulation, governance, quality improvement and strategic leadership. She is Director of Governance & Care at Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC), a Jersey charity which is contracted by the Government to provide the island’s community nursing services for all islanders from pre-birth to end of life, where she oversees clinical services, quality, effectiveness, patient safety, education and information governance.

Throughout her career, Claire has held a range of clinical, regulatory and leadership roles, developing expertise in governance, risk management, organisational improvement and partnership working. She is the Caldicott Guardian for FNHC and plays an active role in supporting high standards of accountability, transparency and quality across health and care services. In addition to her professional responsibilities,

Claire contributes to island-wide governance and community initiatives, serving on the States of Jersey Complaints Panel and Jersey’s Health and Care Partnership Board. She volunteers as Safeguarding Officer for the Jersey Rugby Club, supporting the welfare and protection of children and young people involved in sport.
