LBFCI announces two new Trustee opportunities

30 April 2025

Join 40 years of positive impact in the Channel Islands

Are you looking for a rewarding role, partnering with charities who make a positive difference to the lives of people who are socially excluded and disadvantaged, enabling them to play a fuller role in the community?

Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands has distributed over £25 million to support local charities. We’re looking for two individuals with experience of the charity sector and working knowledge of clinical governance that applies to the delivery of services, who are based in Guernsey to join our dynamic Board of Trustees.

The ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:

  • Strong understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of Trusteeship.
  • An awareness of corporate governance and other standards relating to charities and charitable foundations.
  • A strong personal interest in and awareness of the activities of the charitable sector and the key social issues in the islands

Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity and are appointed for an initial term of three years and can continue for a maximum of six years. The Board meets four times a year, and Trustees are required to participate in sub-committees, events and charity visits. All necessary travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed.
